This series "theatre & ______" is a great introduction to many subfields in theatre scholarship. This particular book, Theatre & Museums, is a great introduction to the intersections of theatre and museum studies written by Susan Bennett, a leader in the field. The book is not very long, I think about 90 pages and can easily be read in one sitting.

I would recommend it for any person interested in theatre studies and/or museum studies who wants a quick introduction to the field. Think of it as a narrativized annotated bibliography.

Difficult read for entire class

My class had the tenth edition of this text. Most of my finance class did not like the structure of the book. Formulas are directly in text instead highlighted in their own spots. You really have to dig to find information. Some complex formulas only have a single example, which can lead to problems if something is not understood. The entire class had a difficult time calculating Value At Risk "VAR" because the example in the book was unclear and it was the only one. After the class voiced their opinion the professor said he will shop for a new text for his next class. If you're just trying to learn for yourself it is a decent read. If you need to be exam ready for the material within, I suggest a supplemental text. I found that my "Fundamentals of Investments valuation and management 6 ed by Jordan, Miller, and Dolvin" text to help tremendously with my studies for this course even though it was a required text for another finance class.

Painful and unpleasant

The logical and physical organization of the sections, paragraphs, sentences, etc of this book is just appalling.
With sentences being repetead in different sections of the book and a strong copy n paste feeling ie fragmented sentences, no fluidity, and a rather strange way of writing and transmiting ideas, it is painful, and unpleasant just to understand simple ideas.
How can 4 american academics in the 21th century produce/write this kind of rubish?!
After having read halliday resnick n walker, paul kruggman etc this comes as a complety shock.
Bin it! and start from the beginning!

By a close reading of adaptations and film reviews, and a study of transitions in their verbal and visual approaches to animism, this book demonstrates that the American and German receptions transcended the conventional view of an antagonistic relationship between animism and Christianity. With the ability to change their shapes into forms easily accessible to other cultural arenas, the anime films make a significant contribution to inter-religious dialogue in the age of secularization.
